I have loved taking pictures of family and friends for years. After the death of my parents I struggled to make myself leave the house. A dear friend invited me to a photography retreat, this literally saved my life. My eyes were opened to a whole new world. ( Yes, like the song).This lead to me assisting several photographers and taking as many classes as my old brain could handle. I now have my own studio. I photograph families and specialize in newborns and children.
I love helping people capture memories and milestones in their families. I have met so many interesting people and most of my referrals come from my clients or word of mouth .
My son who is a talented manufacturing engineer helped design and build my studio. I enjoy creating many of my photography props I use. This even includes welding newborn beds.
I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six with many more to come. I have a Christ centered home. My family is my first priority. I treasure the opportunity to capture precious moments for them. We love to camp and play games, every one visiting together makes me smile.
I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ and have lived here all my life. Chocolate is probably my favorite candy. I am a strong willed and determined person. To relax I like to read and do puzzles. I am talking huge puzzles, like 5000 pieces or more.
